iPhysician - Telemedicine Concept Design for Apple Inc.
Project Overview: The iPhysician project aims to conceptualize a smart healthcare product within Apple's ecosystem. This concept will leverage Apple's existing business model, ecosystem, and technology to create an innovative and accessible healthcare solution. The project will be divided into three phases: research, concept design, and video prototype development.
Phase 1: Research In this phase, I conducted a comprehensive study of Apple's business model, including their core products, services, and target demographics. My goal was to understand how Apple's existing ecosystem can be harnessed to enhance the healthcare experience. Additionally, I created an ecosystem map that visualizes the interconnections between various Apple products, services, and third-party apps to identify potential integration points for a smart healthcare solution. I also highlighted three potential opportunities that align with Apple's vision and could be seamlessly integrated into their ecosystem.
Phase 2: Concept Design During this phase, I developed a concept framework for the iPhysician concept, outlining its key features, functionalities, and benefits. My aim was to define how the product will fit into Apple's existing ecosystem and enhance the user experience. To achieve this, I identified the target demographics for iPhysician, considering factors such as age, and tech-savviness. Moreover, I created imaginative questions and scenarios to explore potential use cases of iPhysician. By examining how the product will improve users' lives, promote preventive healthcare, and enhance overall well-being, we can substantiate its value and potential impact.
Phase 3: Development In the final phase, I developed a video prototype for iPhysician, showcasing its functionalities and benefits. I also generated the now-able scenario and the scenario for the future. The now-able scenario will demonstrate a realistic and achievable use case, showcasing how iPhysician integrates into Apple's ecosystem and how users can benefit from its features in the present. On the other hand, the scenario for the future will envision how iPhysician could evolve and grow within Apple's ecosystem over time. Additionally, I proposed a new business model for iPhysician, outlining revenue streams, pricing strategies, and potential partnerships. The business model will align with Apple's existing approach, ensuring a sustainable and profitable venture.
